Mr Stoll.
I'm a 35 y/o man, no pimples, but excessive sebum roduction since 16 y/o. white heads, and blackheads.
Is Accutane for me, or is there any other drugs out there, with simular impact on the sebaceous gland size

Thanks in advance

Hi, Peter.

Might help. However, the same things that would get rid of an acne problem would also help you.

Look at the archives link I have prepared for you below and spend a few hours learning.

Pay special attention to the essential oils mentioned in the articles on the home page since that might just resolve this in 3-6 months without your doing anything else.

THEN, if you still have questions, write again.

Walt

Hi Walt,
I've been taken the Omega3 stuff, for 1 month, and I've seen result already, the skin is not as oily as before, really a change, however my skin becomes more sensitive, itchy and red from time to time, could that be a reaction ?

Thanks
Peter

Hi, Peter.

Do you know the origin of your omega 3s? Are you hypersensitive to that source? If not, it is not likely an allergic reaction. If so, you should find one from another source. Your healthfood store owner should be able to do this for you.

Some people go through a hypersensitve skin reaction while the problem is resolving. That can last a few weeks and is entirely self-limited. It never gets severe but it can be noticeable.

By the way, most people benefit more from combining all the omega 3s, 6s and 9s mentioned in the article about this on the homepage. Some do get enough benefits from omega 3s alone.

By the way, it would help people to know this is about essential oils and not about accutane. Changing the title would be the way to do that.

Hi, Peter.

By using the essential oils, you are forcing your fat metabolism bsck towards normal. That change can easily cause skin sensitivity but that adjustment is always self- limited.

Hi, Peter.

To answer that I would have to write a book. Fortunately that book has already been written. It is Udo Erasmus' new book: "Fats that Heal, Fats that Kill"---new edition in 1999.

Let us know what you learn.

Walt
