Dr Stoll, Thanks for your wonderful advice!

Posted by Seeker [508.20] on June 07, 2004 at 03:02:29:

This is kind of a testimonial, I guess. It has taken just under a year to mostly clear all signs of acne. My case was likely to only be considered moderate. Even so, the same protocol is needed in virtually all cases. I'm a high strung person, in a stressful University degree. So that hasn't helped much.

My skin is so clear, it's amazing. Though I might still get an occasional pimple (small) when I digress from the protocol. Additionally I rarely come down with the cold or any other illnesses.

In interest of those wanting to know what I do. Most importantly I do SR (skilled relaxation) 2 x 30 minutes or 3 x 20 minutes a day. Then I jog or cycle 20-30 minutes about 5 to 6 times a week. I follow fairly closely a whole foods diet after doing the elimination diet (to discover my food allergies). I avoid wheat (though I do have one serving once a week), most legumes except kidney beans and lentils (I'm allergic to most of the others) and also avoid most non-whole foods. Additionally I take flaxseed oil (good quality- don't ask what brand as I live in Australia), 500 UI Vit. E, and Green Tea for more antioxidants (to protect against the excessive oxidation with the Linoleic and Linolenic acids). I should also add I did begin eating/drinking Kefir in the last few months but I don't find that has made much difference. Though it does have it's health benifits.

I also wish to commend Dr Stoll for taking his stance against the powerful medical community (most of whom are misguided loyalists to the tradition). Thanks for expanding my view of health, preventative and curative options available. Although it has challenged me as to what I will finally do at the end of my medical training. Much of the current mainstream medicine is missing the important targets in treating people. So I am still looking for options as to what I will do- thankfully I still have a few years to think about it (still a student).

Thanks once again. And I encourage those disappointed people out there struggling with acne, there is a solution but it's not easy. Take one step at a time. It's your choice of course but it will take more than a half-hearted attempt. It's decision between, the lifestyle you now live with it's terrible effects on your skin and future health or a slightly tougher approach in lifestyle for ever improving skin, good health and a happy life. You choose. But be sure mainstream medicine and indeed much of Natural Medicines can't cure you. Only your body can cure when it is properly cared for. Wish you all the best.

Thanks, Seeker.

Your wonderful testimonial may help others resolve their acne, too.

You are in a unique postion to help change the system (med student) and I wish you luck. You can do more than I have been able to do because things have already progressed a lot in the past 30 years.

Namaste`

Walt
