i have a 16 year old son who had a mild concussion when he was 12(mtbi??). since then he has had mononucliosis,severe sleep disorders (no rem sleep,periodic limb movement,inabillity to get to sleep),anxiety and severe cystic acne along with chronic viruses. all blood work / lab test look normal.he is unable to attend regular school r/t no sleep .he has been on 12 different meds, none effective,(antidepressants,benzodiazapines,sleeping pills, nutritional supplements etc). he is now undergoing eeg biofeedback and is on acutane,any other suggestions we are DESPERATE!!

Your son was right on the edge of decompensating BEFORE the accident. The accident was just the "straw that broke the camel's back" and pushed him over the edge he would have reached shortly anyhow.
I am interested to hear that you have already started biofeedback. This is the most monetarily expensive way to do what he needs to do but it will work IF, once he learns this skill, he will discipline himself to practice the skill at least twice a day for 20 minutes (not counting any done within 2 hours of retiring). It will STILL take him 6-12 months to het his life back. If he ever stops practicing his skilled relaxation, he runs the serious risk of all this coming back again.
