acne

Hi -wondering if all of a sudden, acne in an adult (me) around hairline
and jaw COULD be from stress?

Or - coupled with I feel stressed - and have felt my hair is thinning
(though no one else feels such) that this could be thyroid?

So - would you say thyroid IS a big possibility?

Could stress do this?

I wasn't clear on if it was the stress or thyroid you were saying yes to

and it if it thyroid - is there anything I can do to reverse or deal with
it?

Yes, stress, Michele.

By the way, I don't see any difference between stress and thyroid malfunction--the thyroid malfunction is just a milepost further along the same trail.

That is what I was thinking also with researching archives, the net,
books.... I am at the "end" of a long road of self help - and what I
mean by "end" (it is never ending, bettering oneself) is that the
"major" issues from childhood, relationships, etc...... I have been
stressed for about two months knowing I was going to see someone
at a wedding (which was last night) and the intricacies of the relation
(ships).

So, after last night, I feel a weight has been lifted off of me.

A longgg time ago you said I should seek a therapist for my health
issues and I thought you were half off your rocker THOUGH I saw
such gifts in you as well --- it took a few years (cough, maybe like
several) but after I did - it was the best thing in the world for me.

I am very thankful to you, and I can't say enough about how glad I am
that I finally saw your advice as 120% on the money.

I think you have an incredible gift and so in awe that you share it as
you do. I've not always agreed with everything, and partially it could
be to my own ignorance (admit) but in whole, my respect for you is so
high.

Thank you so much for everything.

I will be looking at alt ways to work on thyroid AND stress - and
allow my recent last situation (unto itself, it a huge deal) to heal and
move onward.
I know that there is a lot I can do per yoga to help me and with
meditation and just, enjoying life. Sometimes, enjoying life instead of
being afraid is about the best thing one can do for health.

Thanks, Michele.

Congratulations on your progress! You are right: wellness is a never ending job, just like life.
