Dr. Fulton's Step by Step Guide to Acne

Posted by Pat Alexander on January 29, 1999 at 21:53:44:

I am new to this BB. I just searched the acne archives to find any references to Dr. Fulton's book. I didn't find any. I found the information in this book to be very helpful. His recommendations are sound and inexpensive. Dr. Stoll, are you familiar with this book? I highly recommend it. I am still (10 years later) following his recommendations, achieve good results and have never taken antibiotics for acne. Good luck to all.

Thanks, Pat.

Do you know what % of people that follow Dr Fulton's recommendations resolve the acne as you have?

I would be interested in the title, publisher, ISBN #, year published, etc.

Walt

This book was published in 1983 by Harper & Row. As for % of people helped, I don't think many people have read this book. He tried to start the National Acne Research Institute, alas, I'm not sure that it is still running. That's too bad because they did some wonderful work testing ingredients for comedogenicity and irritancy. I still have their list from 6-12-1989. If you would like, I will fax this list (8 pages) to you (e-mail me). He's is now running a cosmetic surgery clinic in California. A guy's gotta earn a living you know. By the way, I have found this book in several Minnesota public libraries so it must be available elsewhere. Just check your local library. ISBN? 616.53 F97D?
