food allergy testing question for Walt

Posted by BOB C. on November 21, 1998 at 20:05:03:

Walt

I was all set to order a FICA test from Immunolabs but recently have read about the ALCAT test from AMTL Corp. , are you familiar with these tests and if so , which would you recommend. I talked to the lab director at Immuno and he told me of the differences between their test and that of standard IgE/IgG4 tests. I understand now why you didn't get good results with Meridian Valley. The book on the ALCAT test is by Rudy Rivera,MD, ever hear of him?

Thanks,

Bob C.(DC on the mend)

Hi, Bob.

I still don't think the blood tests come anywhere close to using your own bodymind as the laboratory: elimination/provocation testing. This is BY FAR the most accurate and least expensive way to determine what is effecting YOU. See notes by Robert Mc Ferran on this subject.

This is a lot more work for you but consider your goal!

Walt
