GSR machine

Posted by SG on February 04, 1999 at 00:11:08:

Does anyone know of a reliable GSR machine? About to
start SR and need a way to make sure I'm "getting there".
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Look or search down the page. We've covered GSR machines extensively here in the past several months. Including recommendations.

On my computer, to Search, you hold down Ctrl key and press F for Find or Ctrl G to search again. Your computer may have a different shortcut, or you may have to use one of the menus at the top of your screen.

SG,

I purchased one last year off the internet and have been real pleased with it. It has a light bar and sound. There are many sites that sell them, but I got mine at:

http://www.bio-medical.com

It was very reasonable ($39.99). It is within the products section on the site. They have other models too in many different price ranges. Hope the info help.

Jim,
I'm only running a 16 bit browser which does not give
me the "search option". But thanks anyway.

Did you let the discussions page load, then press Ctrl and F, (or, in Netscape, press Edit, then Find In Page)?

I'm amazed that *any* modern browser lacks the ability to search within the page currently loaded/displayed. It is such a handy tool that apparently not everyone knows about.

I cut and pasted that link into my browser and it worked for me. Perhaps a typo if you typed it in instead of cutting and pasting?

I've put it into Walt's special Linky place to make it even easier for folks. Click Below!

Jim,
Yes, I did try it. Spent over an hour on the phone with
"tech support" trying to get this to work. According to
them, because I am still using 486, I can not use the
"32 bit" version of Interent Explorer, and the 16 bit
does not support the find function. If you knoe otherwise
I'm all ears [guess I should say all eyes]

Sorry to hear that, not to mention a 486! :-)

OK, then I guess it probably is not available to you. I'm not using IE any more, so I cannot help on that browser.

A 486! Isn't that some form of bodily abuse in this day and age? Death by Slowness! Even my dear old Mom living up in the snowbelt in Illinois has a Pentium machine, thanks to hand-me-downs from her kids :-)

yes the link works for me too now thanks NMI
