I have EBV and found on the vitmain c foundation web site says to take as much as you can handle before bowel movement. They claim that high doses of vit c can cure cancer in some and in labitory test can kill the aids virus. A non-sick person can usually handle 10,000mg. Some very ill people can handle 199,000mg in a day! I find that I can handle around 20-25,000 mg a day before bowel movement. I take the powdered cystalized C with a gallon or more water a day. I plan in a week to get IV vitamin C from a local doctor. I also take muli vitamins, E and a ton of herbs. If I read it will help in any way I buy it, my cubbard looks like a Vitamin store. I just bought PYCNOGENOL, (french pine bark) it is suppose to be the most powerful anti-oxident out there. Very expensive. High doses of C worked great for me but I am an athlete and started training to soon and relapsed because I felt so good after one month of high doses of C. My last EBV test showed that it was almost gone and had a recent infection, instead of current infection, a far cry from every test I had which said it was there and had no intention of leaving. With the SR, tackling the cause of EBV and C I plan to knock this thing out after almost a year!!

Hi, Matt.
Sounds like you are on the right track with the exercise, SR and high doses of vitamin C.
Since you have been taking regular C, you will likely find that you can take at least twice as much esterified C as the regular since it is twice as easily absorbed. Since 4 times as much of any dose you take ends up inside the white blood cell---where C does its thing for boosting immunity---
you will magnify by at least 4 times the effect of the C by using the same dose of esterified C as regular C. OR, you can save money by taking only 1/4th of the present dose of C and getting the same effect.
Let us know how you do.
