Dear Dr. Stoll,
Firstly I must ssay thanks for the quick delivery of my book, I have been using the Ginger root juice for two weeks with no results but I'm still hopeful.
My question is for my wife who suffers from Lymes disease.
Is there any help you can offer as far as her symptom relief of burning spine, and illness. She is treated with
two shots of penicillin each week and oral antibiotics. She is very distraught about this since she knows the end result of Anti's. Any advise or where to get help would be
appreciated. Thank you Howard

Hi, Howard.
Have your wife read everything in the archives for this BB about Lyme.
Then get her to carefully read the whole book you have.
THEN, if she still has questions write again.
By the way, no one I have ever heard of says that injections of penicillin do anything for Lyme. It does do things for the income of the doc, though.
Walt

I have just gotten over Lyme disease which had made its way into my spinal column. The treatment was Rocepherin (sp?) administered through an IV port for 30 days. (I administered it myself - one bag each day, the drip lasts about 45 minutes.) This is a very strong antibiotic which does play havoc with your digestive system. However because the medicine must penetrate the protective tissue surrounding the spinal column (just like the spirochetes had done), it must be strong and constant.
I stopped treatments on Thanksgiving day. My neurologist told me that the damaged nerves will take 2-3 months to finally heal - this timetable seems to be on target as I am almost 100%.
I live in an area known for Lyme disease occurence and the doctors here knew right away what to do. There is no easy way.
I have incorporated Dr. Stoll's advice into my life style for almost 3 years (since he was with Prodigy-whatever happened to them? - oh, well) and have never called in sick to work in that time. However, an illness like Lyme is one condition where conventional antibiotics are necessary. If you have questions, please write alan@dtsrv.com

Hi, alan,
I had an approximately 8 week course of IV Rocephin a couple of years ago. It resulted in a screaming colon infection and candida...make sure you do stuff to address that part of your healing. There's a lot of information on this site about candida - my doctors did not know anything about it (the infectious disease guy actually told me not to take acidophilus, but if I got an infection, he'd give me something for it!), and it was a good year of exhaustion and bloating before I found a doctor who helped me with the candida.
Good luck to you!
