I thought to ask Walt about this.
And Walt, being the sort of Puckish fellow he is, might very well say "Why it heals itself
very well!"
On further reflection though, It is more likely he would say for me to look it up, and let
him know what I learned.
And I would, becuase Walt is like everyone's favorite high school Biology teacher.
So off I went looking. An I found some interest things, which I'll share, because
you never know who else might be interested...

have you ever thought about seting up your own bb
where people could come and
find all this info in one place and not have other
ideas, questions, or posts mixed
in... It would be more interesting and easier to
search and focus on. Here it seems
out of place like it is competeing with Walt.

I'd like to be able to go to a web site and find all
this info together also. It gets lost here.

Bev, Jill, liv,
Thanks for the email you sent me on this.
And you're saying to yourselves "Huh? I didn't send him any email"
Precisely.

Somehow it seems counter-productive, counter-intuitive and lacking in strength to have to
Nevertheless, I appreciate the links.
Thanks Jan.

Gregory,
I know what you mean (I think). Many times with talking about this stuff with those of the skeptical persuasion, I feel like spouting that old saw, "Explain Not. Friends don't need it, and enemies won't believe it"
I see that that is what you are responding to, although that was not my main intent in posting it. There is a part of me that is HAPPY when things like this are actually documented....
I get the sense that you see the effort to document and validate as sleeping with the enemy.... ?

Sleeping with the Enemy. I like that. In a manner of speaking. Several things stood
So the article was couched in terms of an "anomoly" and buried in a medical journal
While it may be true that Americans are a society centered on instant gratification it
This sort of story fuels my search, because I know that this type of healing is the norm,

Thanks, Jan.
This reminds me of the old saw: "If 1000 research articles prove something a skeptic doesn't want to know, he will ask for 1001."
I like the one that says: "The appearance of one sparrow proves the existance of birds."

"validate" this kind of healing by having it reviewed by an allopathic system. As if it needs
'legitimacy' bu the very system designed to suppress it.

out about this article, the first was the constant naysaying of the allopathic
doctors. I wonder how many "treatments" (I can't call them "cures") would move towards
resolution if doctors encouraged the body to heal rather than always giving these dire gloom
and doom predictions.
Then there was the reluctance of these doctors to work with the healer. It seemed to me they were
extremely threatened by his recovery. What if doctors found out that they and their expensive
instrumentality (instrumentality is the "machinery" of a pedegogue [sorry got carried away]).
The whole medical/industrial complex would collapse.
as a preemptive strike against an Joe Normal finding out about it, and starting to
wonder "Gee if he could do it, I could do it too..."
is also true that the vast majority of that mindset comes from brainwashing in the
from of advertising. Doctors/pharm companies are especially lewd in this area, creating
and feeding a lust to "feel better instantly" when very few ailments became ailments
instantly.
and it also dismays as it is so obvious the iron grip allopathic doctors keep on what is
so natural a capability.
Lightwalking,
Gregory
