question about over the counter nail fungus medicine

Posted by sammy d. on June 25, 2002 at 04:01:33:

hello,

i was at walmart and i found some over the counter nail fungus medicine called " the original fungi-nail-brand."it says it is 25% undecylenic acid. Does this mean this is the same stuff as vinegar but a lot stronger. Do you think this would work better than the vinager or should i just stick with the vinegar. it was only like 10 bucks. Do you think i should try it. Thanks.

Over the past 20 years, I've tried the OTC nail fungus medicines. Save your 10 bucks! The vinegar treatment "helps", but, takes a long time, but, it won't hurt your liver like the prescription drugs do.

Hi, sammy.

Obvioiusly I do not make any money from your trying the vinegar. ALL remedies for nail fungus take the same length of time to work since the nail is dead!

I believe that you would get the same results by replacing the "undecylenic acid" with vinegar and applying it in the same way.

Let us know how you do.

Walt
