hot arms technique for headaches

Hello Walt,

I'm sure you don't remember me. I saw you in Lexington
in about 1986.
Anyway, I'm impressed with your "hot arms
technique" for headaches. It was effective for me. I'm planning to make an autogenic training CD for people with migraine headaches emphasizing making their hands,
arms, feet, and legs warm. I would like to sell it on Amazon.I tried it myself and it worked as well as the hot water in the sink. I am wondering if I can have your permission to mention on the CD the "hot arms" technique using the hot water in the sink. I think it could be useful for people to do this first before attempting the autogenic training on the CD. I am a mental health professional with a MSW degree. Thanks for any help you can give me.

If I had your last name I will bet I would remember you. All my patients with vascular headaches, had success with the "hot arms" technique--which as you obviously know is just a short cut to biofeedback and autogenic training.

I am honored to know that you have expanded this knowledge to others and hereby give you "permission" to share it with others. I would appreciate your crediting it though. The more of us that have an expoosure to the public the more influence we will have to help people. We are teachers and other people's experiences magnifies the effect exponentially.

I am proud of you.

Linda is not my real name. Your son Bill said not to use my real name on these posts to avoid harassment. I saw you in 1986 for another health problem.

My migraine headaches didn't start until about 20 years later. I learned about the "hot arms" technique about a year ago from your website. I was shocked to find out it worked. The autogenic training recording I made works most of the time to get rid of the headaches. The way my CD will be different from other autogenic training CDs is that it will focus on getting rid of migraine headaches. Especially focusing on hands, arms, feet, and legs. I will be sure to give you credit when I produce the CD.
