Siddhartha-like,

Posted by Jim H. [12501.4684] on August 21, 2008 at 10:32:11:

Watching an inner river,
A momentum of thoughts
And cataracts of emotion
Of the flow in me,
Realizing the laws of its nature,
And its currents and motion,
Gradient and gravity,
Even interior cycles and orbits,
Are all obedient
To the "big bang" birth of ego
In the universe of Me.

And in the watching...surrending this
Quasimodo camel hump of resistance,
In the needle-eye of Presence,
Within and surrounding all.

Joining you in the Namaste space, Walt,
Which you often reference
At the end of your posts.

Mindless, ordinary, and peaceful, like being out in nature, even if
you're not. You've talked about being able to do waking
meditation, Steve. If that's so, you already know.
