reminds me of hitch-hiker's guide to the galaxy which i'm reading now.....in it, the president of a planet lightyears away doesn't actually have any power at all, and none of the planet's inhabitants are aware of this fact.....his sole occupation is to distract from the truth by being as controversial and inept as possible....(sounds too familiar lol)....i'm sure PR uses attention distractors all of the time.

Excellent article--this is why it is so dangerous to criticize without knowing all of the facts, first hand. I had a serious car accident many yrs ago (never mind the details-unbelievably no one seriously hurt) the newspaper report had NO info. correct.--they had my passenger as the driver of my car--etc--have since learned not to believe too quickly what I read or see on TV
