Sorry, Michele.
ANOTHER big study was just released yesterday AGAIN showing that OTC sinus and head cold remedies were mo better than placebos whose effectiveness was DIRECTLY related to the TV advertizements convincing nature.
SO, I guess we are back to PREVENTION.

Thanks much - when I said I may cave to my husband with the OTC's -
he went online, found pressure points, and spent an hour working on
me. Coincidence or, just ran it's course, I awoke this morning feeling
pretty good!

Walt, I had a cold and went looking in the pharmacy for a remedy. Everything had either sugar or bad sweeteners like aspartame. What good is sugar for the immune system when it's been proven to weaken it? I went and bought some oranges instead. It's amazing they get away with this.
Ideally my health should be good enough to prevent colds. One day! I thank you for everything I've learnt.
