I forgot what this signaled...anybody recall?
I'm thinking it was a sign of a Zinc deficiency but I'm not sure.

Actually, I think it is a sign of excess calcium. I may be wrong, but I think I've heard that before. I'm sure Dr. Stoll will know the answer to this one.

Hi, Mike.
Actually it can be either zinc OR calcium or any other stressful thing that might have happened It they are in nearly all (or ALL) of your nails, at about the same distance from the curicle, it definitely IS a marker for when a significant stressor happened to you (physically of mentally)--EXACTLY when you were growing that nail tissue.
Let us know how they exactly are located.

Regarding the white fingernails though, they aren't mine---I was asking the question after I noticed them on 2 of my students. I will follow up though.
