What causes a high lipase my MRCP came back normal ?! HELP.
Can it be a weak spleen and pancreas and will pancrelipase MT16 help ? My GI specialist prescribed it ...
Thanks DR. Stoll . All other lab work came back normal but my stomach is still really soreright at the top ?!

Lipase is a pancreatic enzyme.
What does you doc say about pancreatitis?

Pancreatitis is a terrible condition since the very enzymes produced by the pancreas tend to digest the pancreas and cause even more inflammation.
Serious wellness is the only thing I know of that will pretty reliably reverse this but even that takes about a year. Of course, exposure to smoke and alcohol REALLY make this worse.
If I had this I might try acupuncture for temporary benefits until my wellness begins to help.
