I'm not sure what others will suggest, but, when my girls had pinworms, I just call the Doc for a prescription. You only give them one little pill, and then another one 2 weeks later. It works quickly.

Thanks, Barb.
I agree that Povan is effective and should be used.
However, I would add that at least 90% of adults also have pinworms. Until the individual develops immune factors against them the individual may have symptoms.
Diet is the most important factor and probiotics the second most important in children.

Hi, Me.
No. What I recommend is a healthy diet (for everyone) and SR and regular exercise in adults. Probiotics are only necessary until the colon re-establishes the healthy biotic ecology.
I have yet to see grapefruit seed extract eliminate pinworms. All of my experience was with prescription drugs.
Remember that 9 out of 10 of the cells in the human body are NOT human. They are parasites, bacteria, fungi, ect. All work in concert to prevent pathological cells from getting established. The 90% of adults with pinworms have come to an accomodation with them and they are harmless.
It is only when poor lifestyle choices cause dysbiosis that pathological organisms can begin to cause symptoms.
Hope this helps.
