Over the year, I have found much information here on treating acne with B5. I have been on many antibiotics and accutane 1 time over the past 20 years. I thought I'd ask the dermatologist about it at my last check up. I photocopied the research and brought it with me. He said he never heard of this before and would check into it. In the meantime, he said since I sometimes "pick" my pimples, I must be depressed or have an emotional disorder. All of this in front of my 10-year-old. He even asked my ten-year-old, "Is mom nervous or depressed?" I was so floored. Even my daughter thought he was weird. I told him the only times I get mildly depressed are when I have these major breakouts at 38 years of age. I believe it's really all hormone related and my mom also suffered from adult acne even into her 60's! Unbelievable.
I never heard back from this "Dr." and don't intend on going back. I have purchased B5 and plan to give it a try. I already take a good multi-vitimin and do SR.
It is just a shame that even if you consistently believe that these guys have a clue, I am repetitively disappointed.
Thanks for your help here on this site. All things I have tried have been really helpful and insightful. This all on a web site for free. You are truly a nice man!

Jackie, makeup can cause acne, just a thought.
