Inner Ear Fluid Gone!

Walt,

I really appreciate the help I received from reading your board about middle ear infections and the complication of fluid left behind. I had two severe middle ear infections with fluid that left me unable to hear completely for three months. It was infuriating. The pressure was particularly troublesome. Sometimes I felt like I just could not take the pressure anymore; I needed relief! I thought I was going to have to return to the doctor, but I did not think that I wanted to have anything they were offering. I believe that the fluid would still be there had I not read your excellent advice about avoiding dairy and using a heating pad. After about three days of following your advice, my fluid was virtually gone (and this was after three months of misery). Walt, I know it was your advice because the cure was dramatic and almost immediate. I continue to be careful about avoiding dairy and applying heat occasionally; it's been more than a week now and the fluid is no longer a problem. Walt, I appreciated your emphatic way of explaining what needed to be done. You were so confident in what you were saying that it gave me the assurance to follow your advice. I wish my sister would listen to me when I tell her about avoiding dairy and using heat or massage (thereby eliminating the effects of bracing). I know those are her issues too; she's suffered with ear infections and fluid her entire life. Now, she's partially deaf. She doesn't seem to want to listen to me, though; she listens to her doctors. I'm sure glad I listened to you, Walt! Thank you so very much!
