TOENAIL FUNGUS AND VICKS VAPOR RUB

Has anyone heard of using Vicks Vapor Rub as a remedy for Toenail Fungus? My wife heard a doctor recommend it as a cure on a radio talk show. The doctor said he has never known it to fail.
