Low Level Laser Therapy (Cold Laser) TOENAIL FUNGUS

This is a different laser than the one that recently came on the market. That machine is by Patholase and I believe that is infrared laser. It was suggested that I do the cold laser. I had 3 treatments last week, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Almost immediately on Tuesday afternoon, I started feeling great. Thursday treatment--not a big difference. But, Friday--WOW! The light is supposed to kill the fungus almost instantly. And the healing begins. Each treatment cost me $25! Huge difference from the Patholase treatments which range from $550 to $950, depending upon the Dr. Of course, I have to wait for the toenail to grow out, but I'm already seeing improvement in my nails and feet!

Thanks, Ellen.

Let us know how you do. I am, however, a little surprised at your systemic feelings from the toenail treatment. However, it may be related to your Reflexology System.

Walt

I was thinking that it may be due to the infection being gone. In any event, I sure like the way I feel!

Please let us know about your progress. What is the name of this cold laser machine? Do you go to a doctor's office?

I don't know the name of the machine. It was done by a practitioner in downtown S.F. On another board, I was told (by a woman who runs a laser clinic in canada)to contact healinglightseminars.com and ask them for a practitioner near me. My feet are cleaner, thinner and have better color in just one week. What does concern me though is that I still soak my feet in vinegar and peroxide and after I see millions of white specks, which I'm guessing are dead fungus. So my dilemma is--how do I keep the fungus that are still on my feet from re-infecting my toenails? Hopefully my immune system is in better shape now, since it's not being taxed.

I live in SF. What is the name of the practitioner?
Those white specks are probably just dead skin. if that treatment can kill the fungal spores as well as the fungus, I believe that there should be no reoccurence. Ask the practitioner if the Cold laser also kills the spores.

The way the vinegar works is that it kills the fungus but not the spores, so you have to keep doing it until the numbers become so low that you don't have enough live fungus to make spores. If you can get a treatment to kill those tough spores then it will be much more effective.
