what part could hormones and/or hormone imbalances be playing in my situation?
i have been wearing the below knee 20/30 compression hose for a number of days instead of the 20/30 compression pantyhose and the progression sure seems more rapid without the pantyhose ones. I hate to wear the pantyhose but I have too many dilated veins already. I would really appreciate you telling me what you would do about the hose!!!!!

Thanks, Worried.

The elastic support above the knees is cosmetic, which is why so many people (and docs) still use them, but if it were me I would lose the above knee support in favor of future results. Progression does not happen in a few days. All you are seeing is the cosmetic effect.

Any veins are difficult to reverse unless the person is willing to spend a year or so with their legs elevated above their hips.

Walt
