I have a history of varicose vein problems, i.e. two ulcers in last 10 years, had veins "stripped" 5 years ago. Recently developed phlebitis below and above the knee. Could this be at all related to my 3 times daily supplement of glucosamine 500mg and chondrotin 400mg. I certainly hope not because this supplement is a godsend!!

I would sincerely doubt it.
Are you over weight? What kind of support are you wearing? Most people do not realize that any support that goes above the knee causes more problems than it helps.
What are you doing to eliminate the causes of varicosities?
