what changes in a woman's hormones contribute to the development of varicose veins at the time of menopause?

not good news, but thank you for the information. well, actually i would be considered at peri-menopause and everything i read says hormone changes can contribute to varicose veins, but i don't know what changes are occuring with the hormones to contribute to varicose veins? any help with info. on this will be appreciated!

That level of information is only available through a gynecological endocrinologist since it at the cutting edge of a rapidly progressing field. What will you do differently if he can give you a detailed list of hormones that are changing and why?
The only practical approach at the current level of knowledge is serious wellness so the wisdom of your bodymind (still at least millennia ahead of our pitiful level of research) can do what it can.

would a gyn. endocrinologist know if i have hormones that are off of what they should be and that may be contriubuting to varicose veins? or is that ahead of where we are in research? some of what I've read say too much estrogen or estrogen dominance may contribute and also I've read that progesterone relaxes veins--do you know is either could be a factor in varicose veins development and/or progression? if i have estrogen dominance is true in my case and I added progesterone(natural-topically) would that help or hurt varicose vein situation? Thanks!
