I did a search for spider veins and only came up with varicose veins. I'm looking for information on how to deal with some broken veins, kinda purplish red around my nose and cheek area. Anyone know?

I've had mine sucessfully treated by electrolysis.
It may need a couple of treatments.
Good Luck,
Mia.

Hi, Curious.
Listen to mia (Thanks, mia.)
Also, you might look into laser removal if you do not have success with that.
Let us know how you do.

Ok...so how do I keep from getting any new ones? In other words, what's causing them so I can do something for them. Doing SR and diet.

Hi, curious.
Depending on your genetic susceptibility, high doses of vitamin E (1000 units of natural E, twice a day), maintaining normal weight and not sitting for long intervals (more than 20 minutes) without getting up and walking around, using a rebounder (gently) several times a day for about 5-10 minutes, will help a lot.
