varicose veins

Posted by - on August 05, 2001 at 22:41:11:

Doctor Stoll:
I am 41, male, and a little overweight for the first time in my life. I have acquired an addiction to ice cream in the last year or so.I have put on considerable weight in the last 15 or so months, but as I was underweight before, it hasn't altogether made me what could be called 'fat'. Lately, I notice those veins, which are so unattractive-they seemed to have sprouted over night. And I know that I'm getting older, but is there anything I can do to stop these from spreading and becoming worse? I walk alot-very much, in fact, for I do not drive and never have.I have very strong legs...Sometimes I am dumbfounded as to how this could this happen to me. Please advise.

Hi, -.

It is called being blindsided by aging.

You are now going to have to work much harder to stay in shape than ever before. Each year will get harder and take more discipline.

There IS an alternative!

Hi, -,
According to Al Carter, founder of Reboundology, Inc., the scarring inside the veins (from varicose veins) cannot be elimated by rebounding, but the condition that causes unsightly veins can.
I have been helped immensely by using a mini-trampoline to do gently and light jumping on a mini-trampoline.
In fact, all parts of the body benefit from using the trampoline because it works on the lymphatic system. You can check this out by going to the website:
Reboundology, Inc., or looking up Al Carter in a Search section of a website. I love my trampoline, and Ihave found that my muscles - even in my arms and back have been strengthened by bouncing on it. Raisa

Thanks, Raisa.

I agree with Al.
