To whom may be interested,
I am a nurse in Auckland NZ end of April I had the luck to get shingles. We give IV Vitamin C so thought I'd try it. I had
4x40gram doses over two weeks. Shingles erupted breast bone to back bone the pain was realllly bad for two weeks and that was it!!!! I have a faint red rash still but no after effects, thanks to Vit C was only two days off work. I also own a bioptron lamp and applied this twice daily. Has anyone else tried IV C?

Hi Gay,
You are lucky. I don't think I would risk a 50/50 chance of
getting Post Herpetic Neuralgia by not taking anti viral meds.
Each to their own. There are some things that need the best that modern medicine has to offer and shingles is one of them. How may others have taken the "IV C" and have not been so lucky?

Thanks, Gay.
If I had shingles, I would use 50-100 grams of IV vitamin C daily for 5 days. Those who still think the way to go is the allopathic paradigm can also take their antiviral drugs. They will not be bothered by the vitamin C.
Remember that anti-viral drugs are all protein synthesis poisons--that is how they work. Our body still has to continue normal protein synthesis while taking them.
Another (safer and more effective than anti-viral drugs) alternative is documented in the forward of my book by Dr Robert Anderson--former president of the AHMA.

Wife getting it as adjunct to Lyme treatment. Helps her
a lot. Increases her energy, decreases symptoms...
