How do I de-sensitize???????

Posted by Christie on April 30, 2002 at 18:18:41:

Hi,

Approximately 10 months ago I developed pretty severe anxiety. I'm in the process of getting it under control by seeing a psychologist, SR, and exercising. However, now I'm so, so, so very sensitive to hormones in my body. I react to changes in my mentrual cycle, work stress, etc...I can actually feel the hormones in my body and the physical sensations are upsetting to me.

I realize that with the onset of the anxiety, my body is now much more hyper-aware of the hormones. While I'm in the healing process, how in the world do I make my body not so sensitive?

Thank you!

Hi, Christie.

Listen to R.

Be grateful for this increased sensitivity since it is a sure sign of your getting well!

R, have you used this EFT?

No, I haven't. That's was just something to investigate. I kind of developed respect for Dr. Mercola.

Thanks R and Dr. Stoll!

Dr. Stoll, I really, really needed to hear that being more sensitive means that I am in the healing process. Thank you so much for helping and spending countless hours bring people true health!!!! Do you recommend that I try EFT (if I can find someone in my town which is highly unlikely)? Or can I just keep on this positive path with the reassurance that being sensitive to stress hormones and female hormones means that I am on the road to wellness? Will I adjust to these "funny" feelings and eventually not notice them as much?

Thanks, Christie.

Of course, both will work faster than either one alone.

Hope this helps.

Walt
