Hi Walt,
I posted a couple of months ago about my husband's PSA levels. You said that the trend was worrisome. Well, you were right. Five out of the twelve needle biopsies showed cancer. Four were less than 10% and one was 35%. After a CT Scan and Bone Scan, we found out (thankfully) that it has not spread beyond the prostate. His options are laporoscopic surgery or radiation. We have opted for surgery. The radiation therapy is a 3 year deal, and my husband doesn't want to go that route. His mindset is "Let's get it out and overwith". Do you agree? We know the risks for impotence and incontinence, and the odds are in his favor that he'll be ok. Do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks.
Joanie
