I asked you recently why I am intolerant to l-glutamine. I read a little about people with Lyme disease also having this problem. I've been tested recently for Lyme, but it was negetive. From my reading, people with Lyme often have high ammonia levels. The ammonia causes permeability of the blood brain barrier. L-glutamine goes across the bbb and becomes an irritant within the brain. Since stress can also make the bbb permeable, I can only guess that I have this glutamine intolerance to LBS, perhaps made even worse by my LGS. Does this theory have merit?
While I'm at it, will my LGS heal without being able to kill of the candida? Probiotics seem to cause more problems for me and I don't seem to tolerate die off very well, possibly because of the leaky bbb. Are antioxidants good for LGS/LBS?
Sorry for all the questions Doctor, but I am desperate.
Thanks.
