I am always amazed what dogs and other animals we keep do for us. Dogs in particular seem to do So much for us, like using their higher sensitivities to find things for us, like explosives, drugs, bodies dead and alive, and even able to smell cancer. I recently met a girl who told me she has seizures caused by a riding accient when she over does things or gets stressed, and a dog she rescued from a shelter, hrs before he was going to be put down, a Shiloh Shepherd, has just been certified as a Seizure Dog. I asked how they train them, since other things like for bomb sniffing, I saw how they are trained or selected by those who have the ability, and encouraged to do it on command.
She said he wasn't trained, but she noticed how he reacted before she had a seizure, blocking her path, and was able to get him certified, and can take him anywhere she goes now.
