I would see a better cardiologist, maybe even two or more for second and third opinions. I have a friend who was a Navy Seal, and he was having chest pain for years, could no longer run for exercise. The cardiologist kept telling him he didn't have any heart problems. He finally had a stomach fundoplication surgery for suspected GERD. That didn't help. Then he went to Cleveland Clinic, and they did special diagnostic tests, and turns out he needed a triple bypass. He had the surgery and was good as new. This was after FIFTEEN YEARS of and suffering, and years of misdiagnosis from the previous cardiologists. They kept telling him the chest pain was all in his head! Cleveland Clinic has the best docs in the world. Go there or see sevaral cardiologist till you are sure you are getting the right diagnosis. Try to find the best..
